Testut

Domaine Testut's vineyards lie only on the finest Kimmeridgian limestone soils; the soils that give the most classic minerally crisp flavours to the wines. Viticulture is painstaking and follows the practice of "Lutte Raisonnée", using only minimal inputs in viticulture. The wines are fermented in a mixture of stainless steel tanks and cement vast. The Premier and Grand Cru wines spend several months ageing in oak with their fine lees.

American wine critic, Robert Parker has described Cyril Testut's Chablis as "excellent" and we can see why. These wines have both modern and classic facets to their style, being clean and fresh with a fantastic fruit purity but also having the fabolous crisp malic acid notes and touches of lees, oak and oxidative handling that define classic Chablis. Parker goes on to say: " The wines are among the very best of the region and offer great style and concentration. They neversacrifice their richness and depth, and remain extremely well balanced and filled with finesse."
We can't add much to that, as if we needed to!
